Apart from monetary donations, the Weedagama Foundation offers meaningful volunteer opportunities across our various projects. We believe in the power of human connection and the impact that dedicated volunteers can make in the communities we serve.

Long-term Engagement

We ideally seek volunteers who can commit to long-term engagements with our partner schools and communities. This allows for deeper relationships and more sustainable impact.

  • Minimum commitment of 6 months
  • Regular weekly or bi-weekly involvement
  • Opportunity to see real change over time
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and teachers

Short-term & One-off Opportunities

On a case-by-case basis, we may have opportunities for short-term or one-off volunteer engagements, particularly for:

  • School infrastructure projects
  • Educational material preparation

Local Community Volunteers

For volunteers from the local communities of our supported schools who assist with leadership and life skills programs:
